About me

Although I do hold a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, I would also consider myself a self-taught artist, to some extent. The public school I attended didn't have much of an art program, aside from the occasional craft project around a holiday.

Growing up, I was a big fan of comic books - especially Superman and Batman, so I created my own comics and drawings. It wasn't actually until my college years that I received formal training in color theory, design and disciplines such as painting and pottery. I guess better late to the party than never invited, huh?

Anyway, I have always had a creative outlook on life and was encouraged to explore that to the fullest. From drawing to painting to acting, I've always enjoyed finding creative things to do and explore that as much as possible.

My goal, as an artist, is to show people, well remind them actually, of the world around them and to encourage them to take a few moments to notice and appreciate the beauty around them in their everyday world.
